It is with great sadness that the family of Mark William Strawbridge announces his passing on April 13, 2019 at his home, at the age of 71 years. He was born on November 14, 1947 in Johnstown, PA to Carl and Dorothy Strawbridge. Mark graduated from Groveton High School in Alexandria, VA. After high school he joined the US Army in 1967 and served 6 years between Army and Army Reserves, and achieved the rank of Tech Sergeant, and was honorably discharged. Mark was a member of St. Marys Catholic Parish and the Knights of Columbus Council #1384 in Annapolis, MD. He worked in the construction industry his whole life, in commercial, residential, historical renovations, design, and custom work. He was passionate about his craftmanship and took great pride in the quality of his work. He loved spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, playing video games, gardening, taking care of animals and helping anyone he could. Mark was preceded in death by his father Carl and sister Cindy. Mark is survived by his daughter Angela and her husband Eddie, daughter Jennifer and her husband Jeremy, son Steven and his wife Zeny, and son Michael, as well as his mother Dorothy, sisters Barbara, Brenda, Claudia, Diane, Linda, Mary Ann and Michelle. He is also survived by his grandchildren Brittany, Michael, Alex, Trevor, Ryan, Madelyn, Danica and Logan. He will be lovingly remembered by his long-term girlfriend Lisa and his entire family and friends. A memorial service will be held at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on April 18th at 11:30. Arrangements are by McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
