Marjorie A. Johnson

June 8, 1919 — January 15, 2009

Marjorie A. Johnson, born June 8, 1919, died on January 15, 2009. She was the daughter of Stanley and Myrtle Butler Householder. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church and was a very loving and compassionate woman who gave her life caring for her son, Paul A. Johnson, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Afton Johnson, Sr.; son, Paul A. Johnson, Jr., and her sister, Virginia Pauline Householder. We wish to acknowledge the wonderful care she received during her last years from some very compassionate and loving women, most recently, Carol Burchfield, Donna Simerly, Jennifer Martinez, Kristy Ferree, and Pat McClure. Also, Bea Hutsell, Wilma Myers and Brenda Branton and all the others who helped in her care. Survivors include several cousins; special friends, Don and Carol Story and Ben and Beverly Dalton. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with Pastors Brenda and Larry Carroll officiating. Eulogy by Don Story. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Pigeon Forge Cemetery for the interment service. Friends will be received from 2-3:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. Memorials may be made to the Smoky Mountain Animal Care Foundation, P. O.
