Marie Garrison Watkins

Marie Garrison Watkins, age 90 of Maryville, formerly of Athens, TN, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Asbury Place. She was a member of Marshall Hill Baptist Church in Niota and Clearwater Baptist Church in Athens. She was preceded in death by her husbands, A. J. “Jack” Garrison and Robert Watkins. Survivors include her son, Jack Garrison of Maryville; granddaughter, Deedra Garrison of Maryville; great grandson, Tyler Garrison and wife Paige of Burbank, CA; sister, Merita Scruggs of Harrison, TN. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Monday at McMinn Memory Gardens, Athens, TN, for a graveside service with Rev. Greg Long officiating.
