Marie B. Swafford

SWAFFORD, Marie B., age 88 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2007, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Bungalow Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, George W. Berry and Hattie A. Davis Berry; sister, Lillian Berry; brothers, George A., James R., William F., Robert R., and Edward H. Berry; sons, Gerald L., H. Allan Swafford; husband, H. Arthell Swafford. Survivors include: daughter, Peggy J. Swafford Rogers; son-in-law, Donald E. Rogers; granddaughters, Sarah E. Rogers Blades and husband, Jeffrey A. Blades, Hannah A. Rogers Zaweija and husband, Kevin Zaweija; special great grandson, Colin L. Rogers Blades; several beloved nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home then proceed to Clark’s Grove Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. William Bennett officiating. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Wally Werner, Dr. Taylor Weatherbee, the staff of Blount Memorial Hospital and the staff of Colonial Hills Nursing Home, especially Clara, whom Mrs. Swafford loved.
