KISTLER, Marian Warnke, born February 26, 1922, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2003, in Lexington, KY. She was the widow of William Robert Kistler, Sr.. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Lexington, KY, was a past member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa, TN and was instrumental in the building of the new church building on Louisville Road. She was a graduate of the University of Nebraska, was a retired medical technologist at Blount Memorial Hospital, a volunteer instructor of English as a Second Language for many years and a member of Rocky Top Society and Decorative Painters Association. Survivors include: daughter, Elizabeth Kistler (William Safford) and grandchildren, Marguerite Safford, Teresa Safford, Constance Safford and great grandchildren, Jessica and Rebecca of Olympia, Washington; son, William Robert Kistler, Jr. (Elaine Abbott Kistler) and grandchildren, Rebecca Adelle Kistler and Carolyn Suzanne Kistler of Russellville, Arkansas; daughter, Jini Kai (Lynne MacAdam) and grandchild, Kalen Shea MacAdam of Madison, Wisconsin; daughter, Margaret Mary Kistler of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Barbara Kistler- Martin (David T. Martin) and grandchildren, Zinah Gregory and Crispin Tucker Martin of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughter, Nancy K. Whitehead (David H. Whitehead) and grandchildren, David Alexander Whitehead and Rachel Veronica Whitehead of Lexington, Kentucky; close personal friends, Jayne and Ryan Rahe of Maryville, Tennessee. Rosary and receiving of friends will be Wednesday, January 29th from 6-8:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, Tennessee. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, January 30th, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa, Tennessee with the interment service to follow in Grandview Cemetery.
