Margaret Rogers Davis

Margaret Rogers Davis, age 90, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning with her children by her side. She is now in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. She was born September 12, 1931, in Blount County, TN. She married Ralph C. Davis March 1949 after he returned from World War II, and the Korean War. Margaret was a legal secretary for over 26 years and finished her career as a Deputy Clerk serving the Federal Court System in Knoxville, TN.

Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Ralph C. Davis; mother, Ruby Cutshaw Rogers Allison; father, John Ben Rogers.

She is survived by her son, Benny Davis, and wife, Amy; her son, Danny Davis and wife, Lynn; sister, Sue Rogers Sims; grandchildren, Kristen Sheppard, Brad Davis, Emily Proehl, Curt Davis, and Brian Davis; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 16th at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, with the service beginning at 2:00 PM. After the service, family and friends will re-unite at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM for the interment.

Donations in her honor may be made to First Baptist Church of Sevierville, TN to their TV ministry program or to Alzheimer’s Association Research for a Cure.
