Margaret Poole Douglas

Margaret Poole Douglas was born December 9, 1915 in Roane County, TN. She was a member of Alcoa First Baptist Church since 1938. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Douglas and son, David Douglas; brothers, Thurman Poole and Edward Poole; sister, Mildred Forrester. Survivors are daughter and husband, Brenda and EJ Carter; daughter-in-law, Carol Douglas; grandchildren, Scott and Melissa Carter, Tammy and Jimmy Fischer, Melinda and Rod Owen, Jon and Charla Douglas, Kim Douglas and Susan Havner; sister, Wilma Jeffries; brother, Raymond Poole; sisters-in-law, Mary Poole, Wilma Douglas, Juanita Douglas, and Prudie Douglas; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Freeman Tomlin officiating. The interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
