Margaret (Peggy) Thompson

Margaret (Peggy) Thompson, age 79 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017, at home. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, was a devoted Catholic since 1938 and also very devoted to her family. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Richard Thompson; daughter, Diane Capps and husband Thomas of Maryville; grandsons, Timothy O'Malley and wife Kara of Granger, IN and Shaun O'Malley; great grandchildren, Tommy O'Malley and Maggie O'Malley; sister, Eileen Lamparelli and husband Richard of Colonia, NJ; sister-in-law, Rita Fatz of Lakeland, FL; several nieces and nephews; life long friend, Bea Lyons of Toms River, NJ. A funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Bill McNeeley officiating. The entombment will follow in the Church Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church Building Fund, 858 Louisville Road, Alcoa, TN 37701.
