Margaret M. Fisher

Margaret Marnice McElroy “Tommye” Fisher, age 90 of Alcoa, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at the family home. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and was retired from Levi Strauss. Preceded in death by husband, Clifford C. “Doc” Fisher; father, Oscar McElroy; mother, Ida Harris McElroy; stepmother, Eliza Presswood McElroy; infant sister, Irene McElroy; sister, Lela Aretta Thompson; brothers, Charles McElroy, Jerry McElroy, J. T. McElroy. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kay Fisher of Alcoa; special grandson, Lance Christopher Fisher and his mother, Donna Fisher of Maryville; sisters, Billie Puett and Evelyn Himes of Madisonville; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Elizabeth McElroy of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the entire Staff of Morningview Transitional Care Center for the excellent care provided for nearly three years. The family also wishes to thank the entire Staff of Blount Memorial Hospice for the excellent care. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Dean Buchanan officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:00 noon Friday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
