Margaret Elizabeth Blankenbeckler

May 8, 1925 — December 16, 2016

Margaret Elizabeth Blankenbeckler age 91 of Maryville was born May 8, 1925 and went to be with our Lord and Savior December 16, 2016. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loving friends and family. Margaret loved her family with a passion that is unexplainable. She was solid in her faith and loved the Lord with all her heart. Not a day went by that she did not share the love of Jesus Christ. Margaret was a faithful member and elder of New Life Ministries Church of God. Margaret was an avid reader and gardener, she especially loved working in her flower garden. Margaret leaves behind a legacy that will last forever in our hearts. The love she had for God, her family and friends is something that each and every one of us should strive to be. She would not want us to be sad that she is gone but rejoicing in knowing that she is in the presence of God, and that she is happy and healthy once again. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Elizabeth Keener; loving husband and best friend, Paul Blankenbeckler that she missed dearly. She is survived by her sons, Norman Blankenbeckler and wife Donna, Ronald Blankenbeckler; daughter, Lisa Huffstetler and husband Herbert; special family, Doreen Espinosa and Vicky Tallent; grandchildren, Russell Blankenbeckler and wife Camille, Megan Li, Michael Lotter and wife Lacy, Eric Blankenbeckler, Anna Blankenbeckler, Lexie Smith, Josh Huffstetler and wife Nikki, Shaunta Willis and husband Daniel; great-grandchildren, Arianna Li, Brady and Lily Blankenbeckler, Jackson and Katie Rose Lotter, Cohen Huffstetler and Urijah Willis. The family would like to give a special thank you to Clover Hill Senior Living Center and all the staff that cared for Margaret. She cared and loved each and every resident and care taker. We want to thank you for loving her unconditionally the short time she was there. Also a special thank you to Blount Memorial Hospital CRU staff. A special thank you to Lindsey, Lindsey, Logan, Matt, Joanna, Shawna, Nicholette, Mackenzie and many more that went above and beyond to care and comfort Margaret during her stay. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 19, 2016 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor David Cooper officiating with the interment to follow. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. in the mausoleum prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Life Ministries Church of God.
