Margaret B. Russell

Margaret B. Russell - age 80, of Maryville, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at her home. She was born July 2, 1929 in Maryville, Tn the daughter of Sedric and Ethel (Martin) Blevins. She married Ervil Russell September 14, 1946. Ervil passed away September 11, 2009. Margaret was a member of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church. Margaret had a love of gardening and a special talent with her flowers and lawn, making her the envy of the neighborhood. Over her 63 years as a wife and mother, her children, grandchildren and husband enjoyed her love, generosity and devotion. She loved the company of others and was always looking for opportunities to be of help. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Sedric and Ethel Blevins; brothers, Marvin, Buddy, Mayford, Howard and Kenneth Blevins; sisters, Mildred Fagg and Dorothy Law. Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sarah Russell; daughter, Brenda Russell Bodemann and husband Harry Bodemann; granddaughters, Christie Russell Milstead and husband Wes Milstead, Andrea Russell and Blakely Bodemann; great-grandchildren, Emma, Nicholas and Blake Milstead; brother, Earl Blevins and wife Brenda Blevins; sisters, Juanita Whitehead and husband Tommy Whitehead, Jean Matlock and husband Don Matlock; special friends Lloyd and Marie Whitehead, Sarah Potter, Terry and Steve Duncan; many nieces and nephews and cousins. She is with our dear Heavenly Father and her beloved husband. The message she left her family: In your happiest and most exciting moments, my heart will celebrate and smile beside you. In your lowest lows, my love will be there to keep you warm, to give you strength and to remind you that God is sure to send your sunshine again. In your life, I wish I could give you a very special gift. When you look in the mirror, see smiles more than frowns, smile because you know when you remember me, remember how very much I love you and how much I have always cared. The family will receive friends at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Monday April 19, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday April 19, at 8:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery, Tuesday, April 20, at 10:00 a.m. Reverends Rex Everett and Alvin Patton will be officiating.
