Margaret Ann Bible Thomas, 90, of Alcoa, Tennessee passed away peacefully to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, February 5, 2022. She was born and raised in Greeneville, Tennessee to the late Ella and William F. Bible. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Clifton (Tommie) Thomas and six siblings. Tommie and Margaret lived in Alcoa for 68 years where they raised three children and owned various businesses.
Survivors include son, Stephen (Victoria) Thomas; daughter, Deborah (Stephen) Stillman; daughter, Kathy Thomas Williamson; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Margaret always put God first in her life and was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville. She also had previously attended Grace Memorial Church and other area churches where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School, Bible School, and Bible Study Groups.
There are not enough words to describe her fantastic talents, work ethics, kindness, and wisdom. She spoke to everyone along her path giving them her precious smile.
The family will receive friends, Friday, February 11th from 2pm until 3:15pm at Grandview Mausoleum in Maryville, Tennessee, and the service will follow at 3:15pm with Reverend Sarah Slack officiating. Special singing will be provided by good friend, Ron Hughes.
Due to Covid-19, masks and distancing are required.
