Maggie Martin Sutton Mills

June 24, 1910 — June 16, 2002

Maggie Gladys Martin Sutton Mills, age 91 of Maryville, formerly of Lenior City passed away Sunday, June 16, 2002 at Asbury Acres Health Care Center. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lenior City. She was born in Corbin, KY. She lived the past 14 years with her great niece and nephew, Carol and Tommy Hunt, and great great nieces, Julia, Emily, and Laura Hunt in Maryville. She was preceded in death by two husbands, James Coleman Sutton and Bruford Everett Mills. Sisters, Hazel Peace and Zora Mills. Two Brothers, Delano Martin and Edward Martin. Niece, Phyllis Ann Long. She is survived by: nieces and nephews, Helen and Hugh Calloway of Maryville, Johanna and Bob Kissinger of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Louanna and Herman Peace of Louisville, KY., and several other great nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 18th, 2002 at Pine-Hill Cemetery, Corbin, KY for graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:30 PM Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church in Maryville, 804 Montvale Station Road, Maryville, TN 37803. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Morning View Village and Asbury Acres Health Care Center. McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, 982-6812.
