Mae Dell Gillespie

GILLESPIE, Mae Dell, age 88 of Alcoa, went on her journey, Sunday, July 14, 2002, at the family home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hardie Gillespie and grandson, Scott Gillespie. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Dr. James H. and Nancy Gillespie of Maryville; daughters, Betsy Taub of Maryville, Dolly Norkus of Hopewell Junction, NY; grandchildren, Todd and Misty Gillespie, Audrey Mintz all of Maryville, Shannon Taub of Aurora, CO and Kyesha Norkus of NY; great grandchild, Shane Gillespie; sister, Stella Hill of Indianapolis. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with Rev. John T. Gillespie officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
