Lynn Anderson passed away Monday at Sacred Grounds Hospice in Knoxville, TN. She was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Blackman; brothers, Lewis and Larry Blackman; parents, Lewis and Rosetta Blackman. She left behind her husband of 50 plus years, Danny; 3 sons, David Lee Merrett (Kathy), Dennis C. Merrett, Daniel Anderson (Candace). One sister, Sherry Wells and brother-in-law, Doc. She especially enjoyed being a mother of three boys and a loving-devoted wife, two of God’s highest callings. She worked as a jewelry manager at Segall’s and Brendle’s, fondly remembering her co-workers there. Also, doing a paper route for six years, so she could keep the kids close while they were growing up. The boys say now it was a valuable experience! She and Danny had moved to Maryville, Tennessee last July to live with Daniel and Candace to help and spend time with Raegan and Daniel, their seven-year-old twin grands. Savannah, GA had always been home until then. One of Lynn’s favorite movies was a Man Called Peter, made in 1955. He was a chaplain of the Senate at the time. After his death, toward the end of the movie his wife, Catherine said “I’ll see you in the morning Peter darling”. As Lynn’s husband I will close with – I’ll see you in the morning my darling Lynn. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Sunday, March 10th, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2:00 PM. The interment will immediately follow at Eusebia Presbyterian Cemetery in Seymour.
