Louise Potter Lawson, age 73 of Maryville, went home to be with her Savior, Jesus, on Tuesday, February 8, 2005. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a member of Six Mile Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Lawson; parents, Melvina and Joe Potter; granddaughter, Amy Lawson and brother-in-law, Wayne E. Perkins. Survivors include: daughters, Cathy Lawson, Lisa Lawson, Susan Barnes and fiancee, Tony Hatcher; daughter and son-in-law, Jama and Richard Henderson; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Jewel Lawson, Don and Janice Lawson, Randy and Pat Lawson; grandchildren, Michael and Amy Lawson, Sarah Lawson, Jonathan Lawson, Chris Smith, Wayne Barnes, and Rachel Barnes; great grandchild, Jace Lawson; brothers and sisters-in-law, J. D. and Pat Potter, Audy and Nina Potter; sisters, Faye McCarthy, Evelyn Gillespie, Linda Perkins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Don Ferguson, Anna Ruth and Russ Westerguard, Mary and Jack Ledbetter; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill White and Rev. Don Lawson officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday in Liberty Christian Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
