Loretta Payne Christie

CHRISTIE, Loretta Payne, of Maryville, passed away Monday, February 20, 2006. She was employed at Jett Auto Supplier for 49 years and was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon E. Christie; parents, George and Hattie Gartland Payne; sister, Ella Delay; brothers, George Payne and Herbert Payne. Survivors include her sisters, Ruby McFee of Alcoa and Cathern Tucker of Tellico Village; nephew, Michael Tucker; several other nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Dr. John Franklin officiating.
