Lloyd D. Lawhon

Lloyd D. Lawhon went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 21, 2018. He was 74. Lloyd loved his church Forest Hill Baptist where he was a deacon and member of the Tuesday Morning Prayer Group. He loved to share Jesus with everyone. He loved racing but most of all, loved making those Cushmans go fast. He wanted to be first in anything he did. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ella Lawhon. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 52 years Brenda Lawhon. Brother, Bill and sister Vonda Hatcher. Numerous nieces and nephews. Brothers in laws and sisters in laws, Gary and L J Cowden, Chet and Teresa Hart, Ronnie and Denise Irwin and Mike and Sharon Holder. A special thanks to the Nurses, Doctors and staff at Blount Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 24 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Thomas and Rev. Wes Rankin officiating. The interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
