Lillian Hitch Lewis

March 28, 1929 — May 30, 2007

LEWIS, Lillian Hitch, age 78 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Lillian was retired from Millers Department Store of Knoxville after 33 years. She was Presbyterian by faith. She enjoyed her weekends, holidays and vacations with special nieces, Bobbie Bailey, Angie Thomas and sister, Ina Carver. She will be sadly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis; parents, Dewey and Emma Hitch; brother, Donald Hitch. Survivors include her sisters, Dorothy Bond, Margaret Chapman, Virginia (Tiny) Breedlove, Ina Carver and Mary Shropshire of Maryville; brothers, John Hitch and wife, Ruby of Seymour, Charles Hitch of Maryville; special brother-in-law and wife, Robert and Nadine Lewis; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Sunderland officiating. The interment will follow in Clarks Grove Cemetery.
