Lillian G Tanner

Lillian G. Tanner, age 88, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Shannondale of Maryville. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville, active in the pharmacy auxiliary and an avid fan of UT Sports. She was preceded in death by husband, Holmon Robert Tanner; brother, John Edward Griffith. Survivors include her children, J.E.Tanner and wife, Linda, Jenny Bradley, and Holmon Robert Tanner, Jr. and wife, Eileen; grandchildren, Barret (Misty), Wes (Sarah), Mitch (Andrea), Elise (Aaron), Trebor, McKenzie and Holmon Robert Tanner, III; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rhea Smith and Norma Griffith; brother and sister-in-law, Leroy Griffith and Gaye; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2019, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Grandview Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Pat Summitt Foundation.
