Lillian Jo Valentine Evans, age 91 went to be with her precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday morning, September 5th. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William D. Evans, Sr. (Bill); brother, Glenn; sister, Belva; two sons-in-law.
She passed away among her family, in the place she called home for almost 70 years. She leaves behind a united family, bound by love and memories. Her eight children, Gladys Marie Howell, Bertha Carol Evans, William D. Evans, Jr. (Bill), Anna Jean Baumgardner, Jeffrey Wayne Evans, Gary Earl Evans, Glenda Dale Hutton, and John Michael Evans, along with their spouses, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, will continue to carry her love in their hearts.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM, Sunday, September 8, 2024, at River Oaks Sanctuary, 1220 Brown School Rd. with the service to follow at 3:00 PM. The interment will immediately follow at East Maryville Cemetery.
