Lillian Catherine Reed

June 18, 1913 — December 3, 2001

REED, Lillian Catherine McCulley, age 88 of Kodak, died Monday, December 3, 2001, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church on Midway Road in Knoxville and was the first hostess at Miss Lillian’s Restaurant in Dollywood. Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Reed; parents, Andrew Garfield and Rebecca Hatcher McCulley; four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Carl Mack and Helen Reed of GA and David and Cinda Reed of Maryville; grandchildren, Michael Chandler Reed and wife Sheila, Carla Reed Giroux and husband Nicholas, Rose Reed and John Reed; great grandchildren, Mary Ann Reed and Michelle Reed both of Alice Springs, Australia; sisters, Flora McCulley Blair of Knoxville and Della McCulley Vaughn of Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Boyd’s Creek Cemetery in Sevier County for a graveside service with Rev. Brian Hearon officiating.
