Lenn Madison Franks died Monday, June 28, 2010 at 3:15 am at UT Medical Center after complications from internal hemorrhage. Lenn is survived by his wife, Lisa Koella Franks of Louisville, TN; his mother, Maxine Tyson Franks of Tifton, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ernie and Libby Koella of Rockford, TN; sister-in-law, Karol Koella of Rockford, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Ronald and Diane Franks Pickens; sister, Wanda Franks Cofield, three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Lanny J. Franks of Tifton, GA; Randy and Joyce Drawdy Franks of Jesup, GA; Ronny and Sherrie Brewer Franks of Cumming, GA; and numerous “adopted kidsâ€, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Lenn was born March 30, 1962 in Tifton, GA to James Wallace and Maxine Tyson Franks. He married Lisa Koella on January 8, 1991. Lenn loved everyone but held a special love for his wife, his family and his friends. He loved God and country! Lenn and Lisa operated Egwani Farms Golf Course in Rockford, TN since 1991 after Lisa and the late Ernie Koella, Jr., developed the golf course on the Koella family farm. Lenn was an expert in turf grass development and golf course management. Lenn loved life and lived life to the fullest! Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Charles Tyson officiating.
