Lavina Luidhardt Newcomer

Our precious momma, Lavina Luidhardt Newcomer, 78 of Blount County passed away on December 17th, 2024. She has been cremated and will soon be taken to Ohio to be placed with her beloved son James Patrick Newcomer, mother, and father. There will be a memorial/celebration of life service at McCammon Ammons Click Funeral Home on January 16th at 6pm, for all family and friends. 

 She was a great forever partner, an amazing mother, nurturing nana, Gigi, caring friend, very hard worker, and all around she was a wonderful woman to everyone she meet. She will be so dearly missed by so many! She helped a lot of people, and touched a lot of hearts. 

 She was born in Ohio on November 1,1946. She had an amazing career at The Soup Kitchen for 15 years, where she retired from. She also put in 8 years for Blount County Schools in the cafeteria. She loved sewing/crafts, bowling, pool, and spending time with family and friends. 

 She was preceded in death by her beloved son James Patrick Newcomer, her parents John and Lena Cover, brothers David and Melvin, sister Naomi Auck. Survived by her fiancé Jamey Ellison, her daughters Pam Collett, Beth Gibson, Sarai Johnson, and April Higgins. Also her brothers Eddy and Danny, sisters Cathy Bloomfield, Aun Dun, and Janet Dunbar. She also had lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

 She will be so greatly missed, but her story lives on through all of us!
