Larry H. Pierce

Larry H. Pierce, age 75 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at home. He was a lifetime member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Delta Airlines after 26 years of service and also worked with the Blount County School System for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ica Headrick Pierce. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, JoAnn Cowden Pierce; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Stephanie Pierce of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Lori Pierce Edwards and Jeff Edwards of Johnson City; grandsons, Nicholas Alan Pierce and wife Jessica, Christopher Jordon (C.J.) Pierce and wife Rita, Christian Scott Pierce, Taylor Parker Pierce, Benjamin Pierce Edwards; granddaughter, Laurel Brooke Edwards; great granddaughter, Addison Mae Pierce; brother and sister-in-law, David K. and Shirley Pierce of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Karen L. and Darell Coppenger of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Long officiating. The interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
