Larry Eugene Hall, age 69 of Maryville, passed away peacefully Wednesday July 22, 2015 at his home surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Audrey Hall and brothers, Robert Hall and Burton Hall. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Joy Hall; daughters, Laura (James) Shamiyeh, Abby (Aaron) Bussey; grandchildren, Claire Kathryn and Henry Shamiyeh, and Ellie and Millie Bussey. Surviving siblings include, Scharlene Berry, Charles (Joann) Hall, Barbara (Paul) Petree, and sister-in-law, Evelyn Hall. Some of Larry's proudest moments include marching in four parades as a member of the All City Band representing his home town of Memphis and organizing four benefit dances for Cerebral Palsy. After serving one tour in Vietnam with the U. S. Navy, Larry was an electrician, master trim carpenter, and plant manager in charge of Research and Development. Larry's favorite pastimes were watching the VOLs play football, doting on his grandchildren, and hanging out with his dog, Zoe. The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 3:30 p.m. with Minister Jonathan Jones, II officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the East TN Veteran's Cemetery, John Sevier Hwy., for the interment service. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
