Kyle William Mcdaniel, Sr.

MCDANIEL, SR., Kyle William, age 86 of Maryville, passed away on July 23, 2007. Kyle was born March 25, 1921 in Jonesboro, TN. He was an Alcoa High School graduate and member of the football team, a WWII veteran, a member and Past Master of New Providence Lodge #128 F&AM, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and York Rite Mason. He was a long-standing member of First Baptist Church of Maryville, owner of McDaniel Furniture Company, and a life-long outdoor enthusiast. He was a loving father and husband who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Florence Thompson McDaniel; his sisters, Ruth Freeman, Evelyn Kerr, Bella Camper; his brothers, James, Wayne, Paul and J.B. McDaniel. Kyle is survived by his wife of 59 years, Evelyn Williams McDaniel; son, Kyle William McDaniel, Jr.; daughter, Margaret McDaniel Knight and son-in-law Gilford Knight; daughter, Laurie Elizabeth McDaniel; and sister Kathleen Hayes of Largo, FL. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home on Thursday, July 26. A Masonic service will be held at 7:00 p.m. followed by funeral services with Dr. John Sharp officiating. Family & friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at Grandview Cemetery Friday, July 27, at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. John Sharp officiating.
