Kimberly Kay Stinnett Mock - age 45 lost her battle with cancer on April 9, 2003 and passed on to heaven from her home in Louisville, TN. She grew up and attended school in Alcoa, TN going on to graduate from the University of Tennessee. Kim worked at several locations across the country for American Air Lines resigning in 1992 to devote full time to her family. She lived for several years in Mount Juliet, TN before moving to Louisville. Kim is a member of First Baptist Church of Alcoa and she also enjoyed attending services at Beech Grove Baptist Church where her son was Saved and Baptized. She found the music at Beech Grove very inspiring. Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents, Velma and Charlie Mills, Leon Stinnett; step-grandfather, Floyd Adams. Survivors include her son, Justin Grant Mock; parents, Shirley and Leonard Stinnett; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Debbie Stinnett; nephew, Jimmy Stinnett; niece, Megan Stinnett; grandmother, Elmira Adams; aunts and uncles, Frank and Margie Boring, Cliff and Betty Stubblefield, Richard and Lois Patterson, Davis and Vada Mills, along with several cousins; special friends, Beaj Woodby, Susan Johnston, and the Golden Girls. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the building fund at Beech Grove Baptist Church, 1519 Topside Rd. Louisville, TN 37777. Kim wanted her friends, acquaintances, and family to meet at Alcoa First Baptist Church for a good bye Memorial Service Friday, April 11, 2003 at 12:00 Noon with Dr. Richard Holden and Rev.
