Kimberly Ann Maples Harbison

Kimberly Maples Harbison went home to our Lord on September 15, 2018. She has laid up her book and her work is done. She was a resident of Rockford, TN. Kim was born in Maryville, TN to Gunnell Bain Maples and Ernest Mack Maples. Kim's early life was spent in Alcoa, TN and later in Greensboro, NC. In recent years she enjoyed time with her family in both states. Kim was beautiful, kind, generous and wonderfully witty. Her smile and her laughter would light up a room. Kim will be remembered for the great love she held for her family and the Lord. She never missed a chance to say "I love you". Kim was a devout member of Faithway Fellowship Baptist Church in Jesus Name in Maryville, TN. Kim was preceded in death by her parents Gunnell Bain and Ernest Mack Maples, sisters Stephanie "Susy" Maples and Beckie Maples. She is survived by her children, Krystyna Harbison Henes (Nick) of Greenback, TN, Maggie Harbison and Heath Harbison of Maryville, TN. Kim is also survived by her brothers, Max Maples of Siler City, NC and Rodney Scott Maples of Sweetwater, TN, sisters, Debbie Maples Guimond (Jeff) of Greenback, TN and Shanda Maples Hardin (Mark) of Ramseur, NC. She will be greatly missed by her niece, nephews, great-nieces and many loving friends. Kim was also preceded in death by her former husband, Jerry Harbison. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 20, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Faithway Fellowship Baptist Church in Jesus Name in Maryville, TN. A Celebration of Life in Kim's honor will be held at Faithway Fellowship Baptist Church in Jesus Name on Friday, September 21, at 1:00 pm, located at 4076 Sevierville Rd., Maryville TN, with Pastor Jewell and Pastor Freight officiating.
