Kennith J. Bivens

BIVENS, Kennith J. age 68 of Maryville passed away Friday December 5, 2003 at U.T. Hospital. He was a very loving husband and father and will be sadly missed. He was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church, served in the U.S. Army for two years, and retired from Entergy Corp. of New Orleans, Louisiana. He was also a Mason, 32nd degree Scottish Rite and Shriner. Preceded in death by his parents: Kara A. Bivens and Neva Pearson Bivens. Survivors include: wife, Carole Sterling Bivens. Daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and John Harkleroad Jr. of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Son and family, K. Kirk Bivens and wife Kathleen of Jackson, Mississippi. Granddaughters, Lea, Brooke, and Brianna Bivens and Grandson, Brett Bivens. Sister, Irma Lois Stubblefield of Lady Lake, Florida. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert C. and Shelia H. Sterling of Louisville and Mother-in-law, Edna Kagley Sterling. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Steve Musick and Rev. Phil Bembower officiating. The entombment will follow in Sherwood Mausoleum. The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00 PM Sunday at McCammon-Ammons- Click Funeral Home.
