Kenneth R. McCall - age 84 of Maryville Passed away Saturday, October 6, 2001 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Springview Baptist Church, was retired from ALCOA and was a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Service Club. He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. Mr McCall was preceded in death by his parents, Sam G. and Clemie Gregory McCall; daughter, Alice Jean McCall; grandson, Michael Holder, and a brother, Ralph McCall. Survivors include his wife, Martha McCall; sons and daughters-in-law, Sam and Lucille McCall, of Maryville, Russell and Edna McCall, of Smyrna, GA, William “Bill” and Judy McCall, of Africa, Robert “Bob” and Lynette McCall, of Fayetteville, GA, Jack and Margaret McCall, of Maryville; son, John McCall, of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Alta and Kenneth Holder, of Maryville, Donna and Norman Blankenbeckler, of Midland, GA; daughter, Margaret Ann Blair, of Maryville; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ollie McCall, and Gordon McCall, both of Maryville; sisters, Ruth McCall, and Lucille McCall Brown, both of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Hale and Rev. Kenneth Holder officiating. Family and friends will meet 2:00 P.M. Monday at Salem Baptist Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
