Kenneth “Kenny” Lee Rasar, 67 passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 19. He lived in Walland most of his life before moving to Louisville in 2002.
Kenny retired from Rockford Manufacturing at the end of 2020, after 32 years of employment.
He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, and camping. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Kenny will be greatly missed by all those he’s left behind. Anyone who knew Kenny was touched by his kindness and humor. He was truly a peacemaker and always a source of positivity.
Preceded in death by parents George and Edna Rasar of Walland. Sisters; Jean Rasar of Walland, Linda Ivey of Walland, Carolyn Breeden of Georgia, and Hazel Ledford of Maryland. Brothers; Bud Rasar of Walland, and Herbert Rasar of Maryville.
Survived by his wife of 42 years, Paulette Rasar. Daughter, Misty Gooden. Sons; Jason Rasar and Michael Lane. Granddaughter, Brooklyn Gurley-Cunningham, and grandson-in-law Drew Cunningham. Grandson, Noah Lane. Sister, Joyce Harless. Several nieces and nephews, and an abundance of friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM, Friday, April 1, 2022, at Rio Revolution Church, 3419 East Lamar Alexander Pkwy., Maryville, TN.
