Kenneth Earl ''Jason'' Shields

SHIELDS, Kenneth Earl “Jason”, age 72 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Kenneth was born March 11, 1936, and served in the U. S. Army. He was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a self-employed painter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam L. and Naomi Shields; brother-in-law, Holt Beals. Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, James L. “Luke” and Louise Shields, Robert R. “Bob” and Helen Shields, Ralph L. and Jo Ann Shields all of Maryville, Larry B. and Gladys Shields of Jacksonville, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce Faye and Dean Enos; sister, Barbara Sue Beals of Greenback; numerous nieces, nephews, a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Longmire officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service.
