Kenneth Darrell "Db" Brown

Kenneth Darrell "DB" Brown, age 63 of Maryville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25, 2016, surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. He was a devoted member of Clark's Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and he recently retired from Blount County Schools maintenance department. Darrell is preceded in death by grandparents, Frank and Mattie Brown, Fred and Ocie Lambert; parents, Kenneth E. And Irene Brown. He is survived by wife, Claudia Lail Brown; daughter, Ashley Trent and husband Michael; son, Dustin Brown and fianc Tracy Kizer; and grandchild, Audrey Trent; sisters, Sharon Saffles and husband Buster, Janet Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 7:00pm Monday, March 28, 2016, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Davis officiating. The interment will be 1:00pm Tuesday in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Monday at the funeral home. The family would also like to offer a special thank you to the staff at Thompson Cancer Center and the nursing staff at Blount Memorial Hospital 5 east.
