Kenneth D. Simmers

Kenneth D. Simmers- age 62 of Maryville, passed away Friday, January 2, 2009 at his home. He was an avid golfer. Preceded in death by parents, Kenneth C. and Dorothy Simmers. Survivors include wife, Christy Ledger Simmers; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Jennifer Simmers of Florida; sons, Joseph Simmers of Ohio and Brian Kidd of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Eric McGlynn of Florida; 6 grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, John and Margie Simmers of California; brother, Mike Simmers of Ohio; 7 nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2009 for a graveside services with Rev. Willa Estella officiating. The family will receive friends 7:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, 982-6812. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Blount Memorial Hospice, 1095 E.
