NORVILLE, Kathleen Brannen Our sweet, beautiful loving wife, mother, and grandmother went peacefully to heaven on May 28, 2008. Kathleen “Kit†Norville, wife of Richard G. Norville, Sr., was a resident of Alcoa for 60 years. She was originally from College Park, GA. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1940 with a degree in Education, and taught in the school system there for a number of years. While at Georgia, she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority and was named the Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. Kit devoted her life to her family and served for a number of years as a Girl Scout leader and Cub Scout Den Mother. She was a founding member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa. Kit was preceded in death by her parents, James and Leona Brannen and her sister, Evelyn Rentz. She leaves her loving husband of 66 years, Richard “Dick†Norville, Sr.; daughter, Angela Reemelin (Phil) of Orange Park, FL; son, Richard G. Norville, Jr. (Jody) of Alcoa; grandchildren, Richard Reemelin, Kathleen “Kitty†Reemelin, Evan Norville and Thomas Norville. A funeral mass will be on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father John O’Neill officiating. The burial will follow the mass in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, May 30, 2008, from 5-7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church Building Fund, 858 Louisville Road, Alcoa, TN 37701.
