Kathleen Ann ''Ruth'' Rice

Kathleen Ann “Ruth” Rice - age 65 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Fort Sanders. She was born April 24, 1945 in Berkley California. She faithfully served her community for over 30 years and was preceded in death by her parents, William J. Ruth and Dorothy Fife Gibson Ruth. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Christi Rice of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Steve Manuel of Powell; grandchildren, McKenzie, Wesley, Patrick, Christian, Max, and Lakin; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara J. Ruth and Albert Teran of El Paso, TX; niece Andrea Robertson. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 to 6:30 P.M. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Maryville. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Blount County Humane Society1005 E Broadway Ave Maryville, TN 37804.
