Katherine Lee "Kiki" Link McCammon of Maryville, TN, age 60, died of a cerebral aneurysm on June 18 at UT Medical Center. She was born in Knoxville where she lived for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Ann and Julian V. Link and the great-granddaughter of Brown Ayres, President of the University of Tennessee (1904-1919). She graduated from West High School, attended Tennessee Technological University, and received a B.S. degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 1977. During the 1980s she owned and operated The Mail Box, a private postal service facility. Kiki was an avid cross-stitcher, calligrapher, puzzle worker, and tennis player. She loved cooking for her family and friends. She was a long-time member of Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church, of the Embroiderers Guild of America, and the women's tennis league of Cherokee Country Club. She is survived by her husband A.R. "Rol" McCammon III; a son, A. Raleigh McCammon IV; a daughter, Elgin Ayres "Ellie" McCammon; sisters Julie Link Haifley and husband John of Washington, DC; Martha Link Dotson of Nashville, TN; brothers J.Vance Link III and wife Robbie Ray Link; David Ayres Link and wife Cheryl Butcher Link of Knoxville; sisters-in-law Pam McCammon Davis and husband John Davis of Rogersville, TN; Mary "Mimi" McCammon Bury and husband Fred Bury of Louisville, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Private interment will be held in Maryville on Monday, June 22, followed by a memorial service at Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church at 1:00 p.m., with the Reverend Dr. Holton Siegling officiating.
