KAGLEY, Kate Montgomery of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2003, at her home. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, was a retired Blount County school teacher, a member of DAR, the Sunrise Garden Club and Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority. Survivors include: husband of 68 years Jess Kagley; sister, Aline Hammond of Chattanooga; niece, Nancy Hammond Stillwell and husband Rick of Chattanooga; nephew, Bob Sterling and wife Sheila of Louisville; niece, Carol Bivens and husband Kenneth of Maryville; great nephew, James Hammond Chandler of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Edna Sterling of Alcoa; special cousins, Jill and John Cochran and Rex and Virginia Porter all of Maryville; several other great nephews and great nieces. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Centenary Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Gale Keown officiating. Mr. Kagley suggests that friends call at their convenience ONLY at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. The family suggests, NO FLOWERS, and that memorials be made to Broadway United Methodist Altar Guild, 309 E.
