Day, Jr. and Louise Poole Day. Survivors include her two sons, whom she loved so much, Sean Newton of Atlanta, and Zach Newton of Knoxville; former husband, Rev. Billy Newton; sister, Dianne Day Dumich and brother-in-law, Nick Dumich; nieces, Amanda, Allison and Ashley; and nephew, Allen. Among her close friends are Melissa Burkholder and Angie Hylton. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at New Providence Presbyterian Church in Maryville on Sunday, December 4, at 2:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Steve Musick.
