Justin Reid ''Chavez'' Fennelly

FENNELLY, Justin Reid “Chavez”, age 18 passed away Thursday, November 28, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Knoxville, was a 2002 graduate of William Blount High School where he was a member of the football team, and was a past member of the East Tennessee Indian League. He received national recognition for a poem he co-authored with Fran Gamble entitled, “Me and You”. Survivors include: mother, Carol J. Allen; father, Phillip R. Fennelly; sister, Tristen A. Fennelly; grandparents, Mary R. Allen, Germaine Fennelly and Pete and Cathy Fennelly; aunts and uncles, James W. Allen, Ray and Toni Holland; cousins, Kris and Keri Sweimler, Lena Sue Jerkins and Annabella Hewing. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Knoxville with Dean John Ross officiating.
