Julia Morton Carpenter

April 19, 1917 — June 5, 2005

Julia Morton Carpenter, age 88 of Louisville, died Sunday, June 5, 2005. She was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carpenter and adopted son, Robert Escher. Survivors include her daughter, Edwina Anderson of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Laverne Carpenter of Louisville, Tom and Dora Carpenter of Nashville; grandchildren, Rick Anderson and wife, Renee of Atlanta, GA, Gina Anderson, Alan Anderson both of Maryville, Steve Carpenter and wife Dee, of Louisville, Maria Wright of Maryville and husband James, who is currently serving in Iraq, Linda Clark and husband Coy of Bristol, VA; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Middlesettlements Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Joe Black officiating.
