Joseph Christopher (Chris) Kelly

Joseph C. (Chris) Kelly, age 63 of Knoxville, passed away suddenly at home on September 5, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, J. B. Kelly, Jr. and Frances Shackelford Kelly and grandparents, Joe and Ruth Kelly and Jesse and Jessie Shackelford. He leaves his sisters, Lagonda Kelly Chesney and Jan Kelly Horn and husband Steve; nephews and nieces, Brian Chesney and wife Casi, Shawna Chesney Parisi and husband Michael, Nathan Kelly Horn, Khristopher Steven Horn and wife Takimi, and several great nephews and great nieces. Chris was a member of Thorngrove Christian Church, a lifelong outdoorsman, an avid fisherman, a farmer and a friend to all; along with his sidekick Brownlow. Memorial service will be held at Thorngrove Christian Church at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11, with a family burial Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Thorngrove Cemetery.
