Johnny Wayne Blair

Johnny Wayne Blair, age 70, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He loved the Lord and was a member of Allegheny Baptist Church. He loved his family and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked as a truck driver for Anderson Lumber Company for 21 years. Preceded in death by parents, Ray and Mary Blair; brothers, J.D., Junior, Billy Jean and Jimmy Blair; sisters, Bernice Anderson, Mary Ruth Swaney; daughter-in-law, Missy Blair; grandson, Chris Garrett. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Ellen Turpin Blair; sons, Ricky, Kenny, and John Blair; daughters-in-law, Miri, Angela, and Renee Blair; grandchildren, Tyler and Rachel Blair, Brookie Johnson, Sara and Rebecca Moler, Spencer Barker; great grandchild, Benjamin Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Francis Blair; sister, Jessie Stewart; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Everett McCarter; many nieces, nephews, and loved ones. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2019, at Hickory Valley Baptist Church and funeral services following with Rev. Anthony Morgan and Rev. Gary Duncan officiating. The burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
