Johnny Edward Curtis

Johnny Edward (John) Curtis, age 75, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, June 2, after a long battle with cancer, at the Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He retired from Alcoa. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Carol Sue Curtis, parents William H.(Bud) and Mary Curtis, and sister Susan Curtis. Survived by Daughter Angie Haworth, Son Mark Curtis, Grandchildren Katie & Austin Haworth, Ashlyn & Callie Curtis. Brother Bill Curtis, Brothers & Sisters-in-law are Jim & Shirley Curtis, Frank & Carol Curtis., Sister-in-law Katherine Linginfelter, Several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends from 4pm to 6pm, Wednesday, June 5 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 608 Ed Davis Road, Maryville, TN 37801, with service to follow. Interment will be 10 am Thursday at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tailgating against cancer, P.O. Box 550, Alcoa, TN 37701.
