John R. Hamil

HAMIL, John R., age 88 of Maryville, died Thursday, April 4, 2002, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. He attended Laurel Bank Baptist Church, served with the U. S. Army in Europe during World War II and worked for White Star Line for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hamil. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Don and Elizabeth Hamil; grandchildren, Cindy Waggoner and husband Andrew Waggoner, Kristi Caux and husband Jean Pierre Caux all of Maryville; great grandchildren, Sarah Beth Caux and Nicholas Caux. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Bailey officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
