John Mcclure Jr.

John McClure Jr., age 88 of Maryville passed away Saturday, May 20th, 2006 at Asbury Place. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sevierville and attended Logans Chapel United Methodist Church.. He was a veteran of World War II having received the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Trotter McClure; sisters, Lucille McClure Hall and Juanita McClure. Survivors include: Daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Donny Duncan, Mary and Ronnie Millsaps; grandchildren, Mandy and Gary Nolan, Adam and Jill Millsaps all of Maryville; great grandchildren, Emily Nolan and Connor Nolan, sister, Ruby Hitch of Maryville. Nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law, Alma Bailey and Mary Nell French both of Maryville. Family and friends will meet 11:00 am Monday at Logans Chapel Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Jack Hitch and Rev. Glenn Gamble officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
