John Henry Jones

JONES, John Henry, age 88 of Knoxville, died Thursday, April 4, 2002, at Williamsburg Villas in Knoxville. He was a member of Tyner United Methodist Church in Chattanooga, he was retired from Concrete Forms was a 50+ year member of the Carpenters Union Local #74 in Chattanooga.. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Payne Jones; his parents, Marshall and Florence Jones; sister, Rachel Modena; brothers, Hugh Jones, Clyde Jones and Gordon Jones. Survivors include his sister, Imogene Irwin of Greenback; sister-in-law, Belvia Payne of Maryville; nephews and nieces, David and Debbie Payne, Don and Carol Story and Wanda Wilson; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Glenn Cummings officiating. The interment will follow in Big Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
