John Frank Hitchcock

John F. Hitchcock age 65 of Maryville went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 18, 2017. John was born in Indianapolis , IN and lived in Shelbyville , IN until he moved to Maryville, TN in 1994. He was a veteran of the U S Army. John had a passion for helping others. John was an EMT for 35 years having worked at Trans-Med, AID Ambulance and Rural Metro when he retired in 2010. John enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, painting and his family. He was preceded in death by his father: William F. Hitchcock, mother Helan Hitchcock, brothers Bradley Braun, William E. Hitchcock, sister Maryann Braun. He is survived by his wife Theresa Hitchcock of Maryville, sons and daughters in laws, Tony and Jessica Sheets of Greensburg IN, Bryan and Erin Hitchcock, daughter and son in law, April Hitchcock McKeehan and Ronnie. Brothers, Mike Braun of Clearwater FL, Ronnie Braun of Fort Bragg NC, Jeff Braun of Wichita Falls TX, 7 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters in laws and friends. The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Simerly officiating. The interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
