John Etheridge Mcmillan

John Etheridge McMillan - age 93 of Maryville born November 12, 1914 Boyd’s Creek, TN passed away Friday, July 25, 2008 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. He was a member of Zions Chapel Baptist Church, a member of George Washington Masonic Lodge #181 Louisville and was a 50 Year Mason, and was retired from ALCOA Aluminum Co. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 60 years Iva Mae Forester McMillan; parents, John Ellis ans Sallie Norton McMillan; son, Roy Howard McMillan. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janice McMillan and Rick Webber; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Pat McMillan, Arthur and Grace McMillan, Tommy and Mary McMillan, Bruce and Gail McMillan; daughter-in-law, Juanita McMillan; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was the ninth born and the last surviving child of John and Sallie McMillan. Family and friends will meet 10:00 A.M. Monday at Shady Grove Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Dan Ed Ferguson officiating. Pall Bearers will be grandsons, Scott, Randy, Eric, Brett, Matt, and Jon McMillan. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 P.M. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
